this 3-day event is one of my best experience in life! (so you know i don't really have much good experience...

so much preparation for it, including drawing a bunch of girls, get those pipes == printed 150 prints and so much hoping anticipating nerve breaking....

and ok i'm writing things randomly now...

did a lot of commissions... how many... let me count...ok i had 10 commissions >< had a very intense period of drawing random characters (some of the request can be so bizarre...

and yes got to know KL! she's so humble and easy-going><

and wat else...

oh yes this person that bought my display DRRR  (my last DRRR) for only $6 coz she ran out of money... i guess she really loves that drawing... but $6 makes me bleed...lol

my best sellers this time: gintokixtakasugi, DRRR, BRS, and reborn stuff~ lol

hard to predict what people want...

but the last day was a big surprise, seems people saved all their money till the last day?

i just got a table and i'll be going to AR this summerr~~~

Minicomi is gone~thank everyone that supports me!

i just signed up for J-fest which is another smaller convention at Douglas College, New Westminster, BC (just got to know it at the Minicomi randomly told by friend orz|||

J-fest will be on July 14, i'll probably bring my leftovers plus/minus some replenished work ||| don't know how it'd go...

this time i'll share table with and at table #7-8, right beside the entrance door, don't come if you already saw me at Minicomi coz it'd be the same old stuff orz|||

the following are intended for and anyone who'd like to know details about Minicomi experience:

so it's pretty much the same artists, i realize something important: girl characters sell better than guy characters, and fanarts sell better than oc...so draw more girl fanarts as much as p! some people sell prints (11x17ish) for up to $12, but i go for $7 each and 2 for $10, i sold out my kuroshitsuiji ones (they go really well especially sebastian...) sold out my letter size prints (didn't print much anyway) and sold out DRRR and Reborn, still got the half of the newer pieces left, my bookmarks and photos from last year go well this year too (i guess the price is cheap, like 2 bookmarks for $1 and 1 photo for $1-2)... and of course most buyers are girls orz||| there are at least 5 tables that got better sales, they mostly sell cute girls such as miku, oh and my total sale is 206$, cost is ~ 80-90$, so i consider this as not too bad|||

the experience itself is quite draining but fun, i sat at the table almost falling asleep during the afternoon hours when people stop coming, but when they do come, it was pleasant to see they gasping in front of your work, got some fans coming over to compliment you (without buying lol) and feeling proud when people are holding your work in their hands when they walk by, my shelves work ok, but other people use tubes from home depot or sth to hang their stuff higher they look quite catchy from far away lol

it's extremely tiring after the day, and good that i have friends to help me out or it'd be too boring  = =

ah...so... i'm going to minicomi this year again...and hope to see some of you guys...and nothing much new this year as you can see... yea... i've been tortured by school... but just come over and have fun~ i'm at G8, G8, G8, G8, G8!!(ok this is so lame...
